Privacy Policy
KubeSpade (“the App”) is a Kubernetes management client for iPad and desktop. This policy explains what data the App handles.
Data we store on your device
Cluster credentials, kubeconfig material, cloud keys, and session tokens are stored only on your device (Keychain / OS secure storage / encrypted local vault). We do not operate a backend that receives your cluster credentials.
Network
The App connects directly from your device to Kubernetes API servers and cloud provider APIs that you configure (for example EKS, GKE, AKS). That traffic does not pass through KubeSpade servers — there is no KubeSpade cluster proxy.
Optional outbound connections that are not your cluster:
- Update check (Desktop) — GitHub Releases API (
api.github.com/repos/kubespade/kubespade/releases) to see if a newer build exists. You choose whether to download. - Downloads — when you fetch installers, files come from GitHub Releases CDN.
- iPad purchases — Apple StoreKit / App Store (entitlements only; no card data to us).
We do not include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. Optional on-device debug logs stay on your device unless you export and share them.
Purchases
Subscriptions and lifetime unlocks on iPad are processed by Apple through In-App Purchase. Apple handles payment data under Apple’s privacy policy. We receive entitlement status from StoreKit on device; we do not receive your payment card details.
Analytics & tracking
The App does not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs that track you across apps.
Children
The App is intended for professional use and is not directed at children under 13.
